Strange

I think it sort of strange how cloudy rainy sloppy wet weather can just drain your energy and all other motivating thoughts from your mind. I think it's strange how this weather can make sleeping in feel so much better and rewarding. It's even more strange how much I took advantage of sleeping today when I really had thoughts do to otherwise. I think it's strange how this writing has a rather circular motif or vicious cycle about it.

It's also strange how my dog solomon would rather be outside hiding in his access space under the florida room in this dank weather, when he can be all cozy inside with me. For most of his life he was an indoor doggie. But when I moved to this house I bought, he has a yard all to himself that he has grown to like. He patrols it well and stares down any strangers he is not familiar with. He barks at the rogue dogs that pass by, telling them either "come here and play with me" or "stay on that side of the road you bitch, I'm the Mac Doggie of this hood and you best stay away if you know what's good for you." Considering the neighborhood, I prefer the later.

I watched a strange movie last night, that I strongly suggest Jadielady to stay away from. It was nothing like "The Others" that I have been telling her to watch. After I was finished, I was a bit relieved it had ended and thoroughly enjoyed it. But I could not help but feel that I'd much rather live in a world of "Willie Wonka" or "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" (which I know won't happen) than a world of "I am Legend" that I know has the potential of happening. Man that gave me the creeps that lasted well after the movie.

I had a conversation with a colleague at work yesterday that struck me as strange. She was speaking about one of her co-workers in a less that positive fashion, which is all well and good, because she just wanted to vent. But she was having difficulty with the co-worker over a trait that she herself possesses. And in true fashion I pointed that out to her at the end of listening to all she had to say. She stared at me in disbelief. I think it's the first time someone had pointed it out to her. So I gave her examples and she wasn't so thrilled to learn what I shared. I just laughed and told her it was okay. I still like her anyway. *but I don't care for her co-worker either* >giggle<

I got a strange wild hair when I walked into WalGreen's last night after work. I saw that same girl that weren't be spek'n engish to goodly. I had to purchase a birthday card for my sister that lives in California. Her world is never quite right if her birthday is not acknowledged. I got up to the check-out line and looked the girl square in the eye and said "How's e'ertang goin 'day?" She just looked at me strangely and rang up my card. I don't think she got it.

I totally agree with your thoughts on cloudt rainy weather. I'm not quite sure why but those types of days make me crave a good meatloaf sandwich.

I love how you pointed out the obvious to your co-worker...I wish I had the balls to do that.

Thanks for stopping by and indulging me with my contest!
